Bonduelle Foods in Tecumseh as seen from above on Google.

A small fire broke out at the Bonduelle Foods in Tecumseh Friday afternoon.

Tecumseh Fire officials say that they received multiple calls for black smoke on the roof of the plant. Fire crews arrived and found fire on the roof and the call was immediately upgraded for more units to attend.

The fire was extinguished in under twenty minutes.

Officials say that a glue application machine caught fire on the roof. They credit the roofers who took immediate action to use extinguishers, from keeping the fire from spreading.

Damage is estimated at $1,000. No one was injured.
