A new market is opening up in Ford City this weekend.

The first event of its kind in historical Ford City, the Sunday Market will offer a little something for all Windsor and Essex County residents to enjoy.

The market will host many local vendors such as New Earth Organics, Sunflower Organic Café, Common Ground Art Collective, local artisans and more. Each market will feature a free arts activity for all ages.

The market will run starting this Sunday until September 29th and will feature a theme each weekend.

August 4th – Henry Ford’s 150th Birthday Celebration-Cake, storytelling, author appearance and photograph display
August 11th – Side Walk Chalk Artist working live
August 18th – Historical Scavenger Hunt
August 25th – Drumming Circle Hosted by White Feather Healing Arts Centre
September 1st – Boxing Demonstration by Border City Boxing Club
September 8th – Bird House Building Activity
September 15th – Cat’s Paw Pottery hosting make your own pottery
September 22nd – Ford City Past and Present Photography Display
September 29th – Arts and Heritage Festival

The market will be held at 1168 Drouillard Road, with free parking and free entry. Hours are from 10am to 2pm.
