Balloonapalooza is quickly approaching for another year and all ride enthusiasts, adventure junkies and adrenaline aficionados can take advantage of the all-day midway passes, available for $15 for advance sales only.

Balloonapalooza’s midway will feature colourful, clean and safe rides, attractions, games and concessions. From chills and thrills to catch, drop and throw, the mini amusement park provides the ultimate in family fun creating an enchanting environment for children and parents alike. And for those feeling a little jumpy, Balloonapalooza’s inflatable slides and bouncers provide youngsters with hours of wiggling, wriggling, sliding, climbing and bouncing fun!

“The midway will be extending the number of rides on downtown streets this year, and we’re thrilled to be offering visitors the all-day passes,” said Larry Horwitz, Chair of the DWBIA. “The passes make it more affordable for families to experience a full day of midway magic, and take in all of the activities that Balloonapalooza has to offer.”

Rides slated for Balloonapalooza include The Scrambler; the Full Tilt; the Ferris Wheel; the Spider; the Merry-Go-Round; the Mardi Gras and more. Midway passes can be purchased at the following downtown locations through August 15:

  • Downtown Windsor BIA – 419 Pelissier Street
  • Pause CafĂ© – 74 Chatham Street West
  • Windsor Royal Pharmacy – 90 Park Street West
  • Ray and Kim’s Convenience – 352 Ouellette Avenue
  • The Squirrel Cage – 1 Maiden Lane West

Ride fans can also purchase midway ride coupons on site with one coupon for $1.50; 20 coupons for $25; or 40 coupons for $40. Each ride requires approximately two to four coupons per person. Midway will operate 10am to 9pm on Saturday August 17th and Sunday August 18th.
