Job Cuts At Caesars Windsor

This morning, Caesars Windsor announced that 38 unionized employees received layoff notice including 30 full time and 8 part time staff, offset by 4 part time postings. The employees affected are from the Food and Beverage, Culinary and Resort Operations departments.

Kevin Laforet, President and CEO of Caesars Windsor said, “Staff reductions are always a difficult decision for any business to make. Business trends are optimistic, but we continue to have the obligation to find efficiencies in the business. Increased competition in Ohio, border issues, the smoking ban and exchange rate continue to be ongoing challenges our property faces.”
