The City of Windsor is holding a public meeting this Wednesday evening on the future of South Tilston Park located in the Bridgeview area of west Windsor.
The 64 acre park is one of six pocket-sized parks, situated in an area west of Partington Avenue and east of California Avenue between Tecumseh Road West and College Avenue.
The park is one of many parks the city has declared as “surplus” and will be attempting to sell off. This year they hope to sell off Long Park in East Windsor and South Tilston park in Bridgeview.
The Public Meeting will consider the disposition of the park and consolidation of park amenities in neighbouring parks.
The meeting will be held at College Avenue Community Centre, located at 3325 College Avenue from 6pm to 8pm.
