On Sunday December 2nd at 4:55am Windsor Police were dispatched to the Twistee Treat soft-serve ice cream kiosk located in the 5500 block of Wyandotte Street East for a break and enter in progress. A witness observed a man make several attempts to break a window with a rock at the business. He finally did break the window and managed to climb inside the business. Investigation has revealed that the cash register was empty and nothing was taken. The suspect did discharge a fire extinguisher inside near the rear door. The witness indicates that the man left out the back pedestrian door and walked East on the South Sidewalk towards the area of Villaire.

The owner of the business provided police with video footage of the incident captured from inside the business. The suspect is observed coming in through the window. He looks in the open but empty cash register. At one point the suspect activates the soft-serve machine and dispenses the treat into his mouth.

The video is very good quality and police are hoping the public can assist identify the suspect. He is a white male with short hair and a goatee. He is wearing a hoodie with letters similar to Property of An…(indecipherable) on the back upper left portion of the hoodie.
