Three Riverside Skating Club athletes competed this past weekend in St Clair Shores, Michigan at the Shores Autumn Classic. This annual competition primes competitive US figure skaters for their Section competition being held in two weeks.

The Section competition is the first of two springboard events that can qualify an athlete to compete at US Nationals.

Athletes from across the Midwest US came to the Shores Autumn Classic in peak form to put the finishing touches on their programs before they compete for a place at Regionals. Should they qualify for Regionals they then must compete for a spot for Nationals.
