A Windsorite is hoping to find their dog which was believed to be stolen off of a front lawn on Hanna Street at the end of July.

The owner says their missing — and believed stolen — dog is a black and white female shih tzu named China.

They say that in June, a man in a dark vehicle stopped in front of the house and asked the owner what type of dog he had with him. The man then asked if he could purchase the dog from him.

On July 27th at 7:30am, the owner says he stepped into the house for just a minute and when he returned, China the dog was gone.

The search for China has made its way across Facebook and Twitter and the owner is not giving up the fight to find their missing, beloved pet.

If you have any information, the owner asks you to contact Bruce at 519-256-7625.

If you have a missing pet, send information to tips@windsorite.ca.
