The Ontario Provincial Police have now identified the people who were killed and injured when the minivan they were riding in was involved in a crash with a train on Strong Road in Lakeshore Sunday morning.

OPP say that six-year-old Wynter Williams, and her sister three-year old Brooklyn Williams both succumbed to injuries

Their brother, Dryden Williams aged four, has been transferred to hospital in Detroit with serious, life-threatening injuries, and their father, Andrew Williams, remains in a Windsor hospital with serious, life-threatening injuries.

The youngest passenger, Jasmyn Williams, age 1½ received minor injuries in the collision.

The investigation continues as OPP Technical Collision Investigators work with Canadian Pacific Rail Police to determine the cause of the crash.

Strong Road in Lakeshore has been re-opened.

It is a sad situation, and it’s hard to lose a child.. Just hope the father wasn’t trying to beat the train because as he now knows the train always wins…
