There may be a solution to the long-term-care bed crisis in Windsor on the way.

The former City of Windsor Social Services building located at 755 Louis Avenue which has been vacant for many years, sitting boarded up is being look at for a revamp to a long term care facility.

The buyer of the building is seeking city council approval to redevelop it into an 80 bed long term care facility with 36 rooms.
