A frost advisory is in effect for Windsor and Essex County as well as Chatham-Kent.
Environment Canada says that temperatures are expected to drop to near the freezing mark overnight tonight and that frost may damage some crops in frost-prone areas.
They suggest covering up plants, especially those in frost-prone areas and to take preventative measures to protect frost-sensitive plants and trees.
