Man With Pistol Tries Robbing Rivard Convenience Store

Windsor Police are searching for a man who allegedly tried robbing a convenience store in east Windsor.
Police were called to First Stop Convenience just after 8pm Wednesday in the 2900 block of Rivard.
The store owner told police that a suspect had just left the store after attempting to rob her.
The victim told police that the suspect entered the store and selected a popsicle from the freezer. He brought the popsicle to the counter and paid for it. He then revealed the handle of a pistol in his coat pocket and demanded cash. The suspect then turned and left the store on foot.
Police say nothing was taken.
The suspect is described as being between 20-25 years of age, 5’6″-5’7″ tall with a medium build, black winter jacket and tight black scarf over face
