Tecumseh Fire & Rescue Services is celebrating Fire Prevention Week from October 2nd to 5th.
Events will be taking place at both Fire Stations nightly from 6:00pm to 8:00m including various activities such as Fire Truck rides, meeting Sparky, tours of the Fire Stations, displays and fire safety demonstrations for all ages to enjoy.
Come out and meet your Tecumseh firefighters at either Fire Station:
- Fire Station 1 (985 Lesperance Rd)
- Fire Station 2 (5520 Walker Rd)
“Fire safety education is important for everyone,” said Wade Bondy, Tecumseh Fire Chief. “Fire Prevention Week is a great opportunity to bring together the fire service, school and community education professionals to teach people easy and safe ways to prevent cooking fires and burns. We encourage you to come out to Fire Station 1 or 2 and check it out!”
You are asked to bring a Kidde Smoke or CO alarm to support theirSmoke and CO alarm initiative, or a canned good donations to support the local food bank.
