The WindsorEssex Community Foundation presented an award of $12,000 to the Leamington Kinsmen Recreation Complex through the MRH Fund at the Community Foundation.
The Complex was built 30 years ago to provide an assortment of sports, recreational programs, and services for all ages. The complex has grown to over 2,500 active members.
Dave Orshinsky, Recreation Complex & Programs stated “This funding donation will allow the Recreation Department to purchase equipment for new youth and adult programs that we would not have been able to consider in 2015. We are thrilled that we have been recognized for all the programs and activities that we offer to all ages in our community, and look forward to even more activities as a result of this generous donation.”
“The Foundation is proud to provide a grant to add new components for existing programs. This expands our community’s capacity to care for our fellow citizens, building a better Windsor-Essex for today and tomorrow.” stated Lisa Kolody, Executive Director at the WindsorEssex Community Foundation
