Saturday Is Zombie Day In Windsor!

Zombies are set to take over various parts of Windsor this afternoon and evening as two separate zombie events take place.
First up, the Undead Unleashed Zombie Run is a 5K chase through Malden Park.
Hosted by Entertaining Assets INC, the run is intended to challenge participants to walk, run or jog an approximate 5 to 7 kilometer course with several obstacles. In the event, participants will run next to Zombies, and will face obstacles such as tires, hay and cargo nets.
Organizers plan to use the natural land of Malden Park to create many of the obstacles.
Between 1000-1500 participants are expected. Zombies are expected to start running at 3pm and spectators are welcome.

Then Saturday evening, the Zombie Walk takes over Downtown Windsor.
The event takes place at the foot of Ouellette at 9pm. You’re asked to bring 5 canned goods if you attend.
