Construction is moving along at site of Windsor’s newest Goodwill store.
An 18,000 square foot retail space is being built behind the existing former Elias market at Tecumseh and McDougall.
This will be the largest Goodwill location opened to date and will be the second retail location in Windsor.
Director of Operations Kevin Neill says “The store will feature a wide range of gently used items, from clothing, shoes and accessories, through to household items, electronics and furniture.”
“Items donated in Windsor will put people to work in the community, not only in our donation centres, but also at the retail store. Money generated from the sale of the goods will be utilized to assist in training people to develop work and life skills to gain employment.”
The new location is slated to open this fall and will employ approximately 35 people.
