Tomorrow evening, from 5pm to 9pm, six different community partners are presenting a free public information fair on healthy eating, mental health and physical activity for youth.
Let’s Get Kids Active will offer information booths with community information on spring/summer activities as well as expert presenters discussing health, nutrition, and physical activity.
Special Windsor Essex ICG Games and In Sport WE Are One legacy health initiative announcements to begin at 5:45pm followed by panel presentations by health experts Dr. Anne W. Snowdon, speaking on the In Sport We are One, the legacy project of the International Children’s Games that motivates elementary students to get in motion and stay active.
Dr. A. Kidd, Endocrinologist, discussing youth health.
Margaret Good, a consultant with Ophea, a not-for-profit organization working to support the health and learning of children and youth in Ontario.
Dr. J. Orchard, a psychologist at Maryvale Adolescent and Family Services.
The evening fair will be held at the Ciociaro Club, located at 3745 North Talbot Road.
The first 300 guests will receive free welcome bags packed with community information and gifts.
