Concerts, Churches and Parks at Council Tonight

The future of Our Lady of the Rosary Church will be at council tonight. The Church was offered by the Diocese of London for the price of $1.00, but administration is recommending the city not purchase it. Three delegations are listed to speak on this matter, and all are asking for a deferral until August 29th meeting of council.
A small park in Olde Sandwich Town will be up for debate tonight. Council will hear from a couple of delegations, as well, they will receive multiple letters of support encouraging them to purchase the park land. Administrations recommendation is not to do so.
The University of Windsor Student Alliance wants to hold a concert Downtown, and will ask for Approval of city council tonight. The concert is a way to welcome to University Downtown.
