Over 750 participants packed the grounds of The Vollmer Complex in Lasalle today for the fifth-annual Windsor Corporate Challenge (WCC).
This team-building event invites businesses from across Windsor-Essex to compete against each other in various events like bow and arrow dodgeball and “The Bermuda Triangle,” a pirate-themed game that takes place on a giant slip-and-slide.
The WCC is also a fundraising event, having raised over $450,000 since its inception. This year all funds raised are going to the new Ronald McDonald House Windsor.
Teams taking part in the event include St Clair College, TD Bank, KPMG, and Arbor Memorial. As of 2 pm the official scoreboard lists The Dougall Superstore Chargers in first place, but the event runs until 4:30 pm, when the official winners will be announced.
