The Walkervilles To Headline The LaSalle Strawberry Festival

The Walkervilles will headline this years LaSalle Strawberry Festival.

This years festival starts on Thursday June 11th and is said to be jam packed with local musicians promising a weekend of exciting entertainment for all ages. “We really focused on finding some great local entertainment,” said Jeff Renaud, Entertainment Director for the Strawberry Festival. “All acts, except for The Walkervilles, have a band member who is originally from or lives in LaSalle.”

Following tradition, the festival kicks off with the Miss LaSalle Pageant on Thursday at 6pm, followed by the classic cover band, BIGSEXY.

For rock and roll fans, Friday’s line-up begins at 3pm and includes Christian Vegh, The 519 Band, SieraSlave, ONE MAN OUT and Wednesdays Engine.

The Walkervilles will take the stage at 9:30pm Saturday and promise a show that is filled with Motown, rock and of course some soul.

Sunday is family day and starts off with the baby pageant and the strawberry eating contest. Kids of all ages will love the beat of Mystic Drumz. Princesses Ana and Elsa will also make an appearance on Sunday, along with dancers, a martial arts demonstration and rock bands featuring LaSalle’s youth.
