Distribution Starts For Sparky’s Toy Drive

The Windsor Firefighters Benefit Fund partnered up with Hôtel-Dieu Grace Healthcare to hold the annual Sparky’s Toy Drive distribution of toys.

When Hôtel-Dieu Grace heard Sparky’s was looking for a new home, they couldn’t wait to help out by offering space in the Brown Auditorium.

Approximately 3,000 bags of toys were assembled to be donated to the community.  As of Saturday afternoon 1,007 families have been helped, and over the course of the weekend an expected 1,200 families will be helped.

In addition to welcoming Sparky’s to  Hôtel-Dieu Grace Healthcare, the Food and Nutrition Services Department has decided to donate half of their annual tips to the Sparky’s Toy Drive.
