Popular cosmetic eyelash business Zipp Lash is expanding to Tecumseh.

Proprietor Jason Carruthers is opening the new location, the second to the existing Ouellette and Elliott location, at 33 Amy Croft Drive in Tecumseh in the Sobeys Plaza at the corner of Manning and EC Row. The new spot is going into space previously occupied by Cora’s.

Carruthers says “As an optician trained to fit lenses precisely onto the human eye, I saw a demand for well-fitted cosmetic lashes. Zipp Lash provides properly fitted eyelash extensions for women as an alternative to mascara. Our lashes look better and more realistic than other fake lashes because they fit better”.

A third location is planned for South Windsor, and Carruthers, who took the Zipp Lash concept to CBC’s Dragons Den recently, aims to franchise across Canada.

Zipp Lash will be giving away a limited number of $50 gift certificates for lashes on Saturday November 17th at exactly 3:30pm.
