Man Who Robbed Tecumseh Mall Shoppers Drug Mart of Oxycontin Found Dead

Windsor Police are reporting that the man suspected of committing a robbery where a quantity of narcotics were stolen at Tecumseh Mall’s Shoppers Drug Mart last night was found deceased in an east side apartment early this afternoon.

At noon today, Windsor Police were called to an apartment building in the 3100 block of Meadowbrook lane for a report of a dead body.

When police arrived they were met by the father of the deceased who had found his son, a 24-year-old, deceased inside his apartment. Investigators have confirmed that the deceased was the man depicted in the surveillance photo.

The cause of death has not been determined however foul play is not suspected.

The identity of the deceased is not being released by police at this time.
