Some changes are coming to elementary schools within the Catholic School Board.

The Accommodation Review Committees has wrapped up a series of public meetings and have now made their final recommendations to the Director of Education for two catholic schools in Fontainebleau area of East Windsor.

The committee recommendation is the consolidation of the two schools W.J. Langlois and St. Alexander into one site. The committee however made no recommendation as to which of the two schools would be the ideal building to remain open. Each school committee has put forward pros and cons of their school remaining open which can be read in the report here.

On May 15th a special board meeting will be held at St. Joesph’s Highschool for public input.

The school board will make the final decision on June 26th.
