Suspects Sought in West Side Arson

Windsor Police are seeking the assistance of the public in identifying two suspects who were seen inside and around a house in the 900 block of Partington Avenue in the Bridgeview area just prior to it becoming engulfed in flames, Tuesday afternoon.   Windsor Fire and Police Services responded to the house located at 992 Partington Avenue just before 5:00 pm and found the house to be fully consumed by flames.  The fire was eventually extinguished by firefighters and no injuries were reported.

The house has been vacant since the beginning of October and that hydro to the residence had been discontinued at that time.  Witnesses in the area advised officers that they had seen two males at the residence just prior to it catching fire. Witnesses also advised officers that they have seen both these males at this house in the recent past.

The Windsor Police Arson unit is investigating and have determined the cause of the blaze to be arson.  The descriptions of the two suspects are as follows:

Suspect # 1 – Male, black, 18-20 years, 5’10”, 210 lbs, heavy build, wearing a dark brown or black t-shirt.

Suspect # 2 – Male, white, 18-20 years, 5’8″, skinny build, wearing a white t-shirt and baggy jeans. He was riding a bicycle.  This suspect remained outside the
