One again the City of Windsor Parks Department’s elves have been busy stringing up hundreds and hundreds of Christmas lights in the city.

For the second year, white lights have been strung in all the trees in the clovers of the on and off ramps of the E.C. Row Expressway on Dougall as pictured above from last year.

In addition the lights will once again line the hills along Dougall, with additional lights added to even more trees this year.

The head of the Parks Determent Don Sadler tells windsoriteDOTca, that this year there will be even more lights in the city!  Lights will be hung on the newly complete Streetscape along Howard and E.C. Row by Devonshire Mall.  In addition lights have been added to tress in Jackson Park along Ouellette Ave on both sides of the roadway.

On the riverfront Don Sadler says to look for lights in all the tress in Dieppe park along the river front railing and the huge Mulberry tree in centre of park.

And yes!  Windsor will have its fair share of Christmas tress too this festive season.  Already a community tree is lit at Mackenzie Hall in Old Sandwich Towne.  Trees will be lit in Dieppe Gardens, at City Hall, Charles Clark Square and the WFCU centre, plus and a tree atop the Holiday Inn, in Downtown Windsor will also be lit in the coming days.

Don tells us that most lights will be lit by this weekend!
