This morning at about 6:30 AM 100 Canadian cyclists biked across the Ambassador Bridge to meet up with about another 100 American cyclists.  The Ambassador Bridge Company closed two lanes of traffic to allow the bikes to cycle across the bridge.  Afterwards the cyclists met in MicMac Park for a hot breakfast.  They are now continuing on in two groups: one is going to Walkerville to tour Hiram Walkers and learn about rum running at Willistead Manor, the other is cycling to Amhersburgh to visit Fort Malden.

Yes, they still checked our passports when we reached the other side. It was a great event and a great day out!
