Ages: 12-15 Date: August 28, 2025 Duration: 10:00am – 12:30pm (2.5 hours) Description: Challenge yourself with the skills of navigation and outdoor adventure! In this hands-on program, youth will learn the fundamentals of orienteering; how to read maps, use a compass, and navigate through natural terrain. Participants will put their skills to the test in a friendly orienteering competition, as well as use their skills on a trek through Kennedy Woods. With teamwork, strategy, and a spirit of adventure, this program offers an exciting way to build confidence and explore the outdoors. Activities: ● Learn about the basics of using a compass and pacing ● Navigation tournament ● Hike through Kennedy Woods What to bring: ● Running shoes or hiking boots ● Lunch ● Sunscreen ● Hat ● Bug spray ● Water bottle Program fee: $10 per child
