Severe thunderstorms with high winds and large hail roared through Windsor and Essex County, Wednesday evening, causing power outages, downed trees, and property damage.

Several streets in West Windsor, Downtown Windsor, Walkerville, South Windsor, Riverside, and other areas are blocked with downed power lines and trees.

Windsor Fire responded to thirty-three calls related to the storm.
