The Downtown Windsor Farmers’ Market is set to return this spring, and they are calling for applications from local vendors and artisans.
The 15th season of the Market will take place on Pelissier Street, between Wyandotte and Park, from March 30th to October 26th, 2024.
“The Downtown Windsor Farmers’ Market has always been a celebration of community spirit and local entrepreneurship,” said DWFM Market Manager Steve Green. “We are so excited to see the diversity and quality of products our local vendors will bring this coming season.”
Emphasizing a commitment to local production, all products sold at the Market must be grown, made, baked and produced by the vendor or be an artisanal Canadian product. The Market will be open between 9:00am and 2:00pm every Saturday of the season.
Chris MacLeod, DWBIA Chair, emphasized the Market’s significance. “The DWFM has become a cornerstone in our efforts to revitalize the city’s core,” he shared. “It’s truly a platform for local businesses and artisans to thrive. We strongly encourage all local producers and creative minds to apply because this is a one-of-a-kind opportunity to be part of something that truly embodies the spirit of Windsor.”
