The year of the rat was celebrated at Devonshire Mall Sunday afternoon.
Chinese New Year celebrations took place right in front of the Hudson’s Bay, with live performances taking place all afternoon such as the Parade of the Dragon, singing displays, dancing and much more. Booths were also set up with various cultural displays in the area.
This is the fifth year of the Essex County Chinese Canadian Association celebrates the Chinese New Year at Devonshire Mall.
