A sharp Arctic cold front will blast east across the Windsor-Essex and Chatham-Kent regions later today, according to Environment Canada.

They say the cold front will come by way of gusty southwesterly winds, with gusts of 80 km/h being common over Southern Ontario.

Winter will return quickly tonight with temperatures in the wake of the front falling to just below freezing tonight.
