The Filipino Community Centre, at 935 Northwood Street in South Windsor, is getting an addition.
The Centre’s existing 4450 square feet of community space will be joined by an addition of 2645 square feet, a new parking lot at the front of the Centre and over 1000 square feet of additional landscaping.
The Filipino Community Centre provides a comprehensive range of programs and activities to strengthen the awareness of Filipino heritage and culture, facilities the adjustment of local Filipino residents to Canadian society, enhances their potential for leadership roles in the broader community, and promotes solidarity among Filipinos and Canadians of Filipino heritage in Windsor and Essex County.
