The printmaking and book arts studio is located in the heart of Walkerville, right next door to the Walkerville Artists’ Co-op. The studio offers press rental, private instruction, and workshops. Some of the upcoming printmaking workshops include trace monotype, reductive woodcut, and paper relief monoprint. Other classes include beginner draw and sketch, bookbinding, sewing classes, and knitting classes.

Private instruction is available for those who want to learn more about print-making or want one-on-one assistance with their personal print projects. Experienced printmakers can rent the space and take advantage of the presses and workshop space available at Levigator Press.

The space also has a retail shop for those looking for unique gifts, such as handmade notebooks and journals, original wall art, screen-printed t-shirts and tote bags, hand knit items, and more.

Levigator Press is located at 1984 Wyandotte Street East and can be contacted by calling 519-991-4972. They are open Tuesday and Wednesday from 11am – 8pm, Thursday from 2pm – 8pm, Friday from 11am – 5pm, and Saturday from 11am – 6pm. You can also check out their website and Facebook page for more information, updates, and upcoming workshops and classes.
