The Willistead opened their doors at 1840 Wyandotte Street East earlier this year.

The rustic interior of the restaurant is warm and welcoming and reflects their menu, which features meals prepared using locally sourced meat and produce to create dishes reminiscent of a home cooked meal.

The fresh cuisine offered at The Willistead is created by the Dimoglou brothers, David and Ted – both experienced chefs born and raised in Windsor. Their menu is categorized by Snacks, Sandwiches, Salads, Meat, and Veg.  A popular salad choice is the Willistead’s Cobb Salad featuring chicken, tomato, avocado, bacon and blue cheese. Some of their entrees include pan seared whitefish with tomato relish, roasted chicken (deboned) with blue cheese bread pudding and a fried chicken sandwich with lettuce, green apple and maple mayo. Menu items are subject to change subject to availability, season and the chef’s creative whim.

The Willistead is open Monday – Thursday from 11:30am – 12:00am, Friday and Saturday from 11:30am – 2:00am and Sundays from 11:30am – 8:00pm. You can contact them at 519-253-8226 or check out their webpage for more information and updates.
