The Metro store at University Mall is changing to Food Basics.

Several employees of the west end grocery store confirmed to windsoriteDOTca they were told this week.

Metro Communications Specialist Mark Bernhardt would not provide comment on when the change would happen or how many people could lose their jobs saying that they are “unable to comment on matters that may arise out of our collective bargaining agreement with our employees and their unions.”
