Local boxer Mary Spencer made her Olympic debut in London this morning taking on China’s Jinzi Li.
At the end of round one Spencer lead 3-2, but China took the lead at the end of the second round with a score of 7-5. At the end of the third round Spencer was still trailing by 2 points going into the fourth and final round.
Mary Spencer was eliminated with the final score of 17 to 14 with China’s Jinzi Li pulling off the Victory.
