The night of Friday, September 23rd found the FM Lounge (156 Chatham St. W.) packed with performers and music lovers who came out to pay tribute to Bradford Helner, who sadly passed away last month.

The drummer was known by many in the city, having at some point been involved with almost any musical act you can think of.

Among Friday’s performers were The Eric Welton Band, Surdaster, The Locusts Have No King, last –minute addition Max Marshall,  Mr. Chill & The Witnesses, and Huladog. World-renowned burlesque dancer Roxi D’Lite also took part, performing for a single song.

The crowd was appreciative of all acts, cheering, clapping, dancing, and singing along throughout the night. Glasses were often raised and dedications frequently given, the full house remembering just why this night was happening.
