Windsor Underground Film Series – Dinner in America

WUFS (the Windsor Underground Film Series) is returning! On Friday July 18th we will be partnering with the Windsor Film Society for the screening of Dinner in America at the Armouries. An on-the-lam punk rocker and a young woman obsessed with his band unexpectedly fall in love and go on an epic journey together through America’s decaying Midwestern suburbs. Originally premiering at Sundance in 2020, Dinner in America is a critique of middle class America and also features music and cameos from Windsor’s Disco Assault. Set in Detroit, Michigan, this comedy drama stars Kyle Gallner, Emily Skeggs and was written/directed by Adam Rehmeier. It has yet to be screened in Windsor, until now.
