The 11th annual On a Mission for the Mission ride, benefiting the Downtown Mission, took off Sunday morning.
A record amount of supporters joined this year’s ride, with over 300 motorcyclists roaring through downtown. This year’s ride also became a tribute to George Winney, who passed away last year and was a long time volunteer for the mission and was always active in planning the annual ride.
All money raised from the ride goes to feeding the hungry in the area, and fill the mission’s food bank.
