The reconstruction of Huron Church between Malden Road and Dorchester Road is entering its sixth week.
Construction crews have removed the old road surface and medians on the northbound side and the new cement road surface and sewers are now going in.
This phase of the project is expected to last until the end of the month when crews will then focus on the southbound side.
Work is taking place seven days a week and 24 hours and is expected to be fully completed by the end of June.
