Tecumseh Mall has new owners.

Europro recently completed the purchase of the east end mall from Kingsett Capital for $37 million.

“This transaction secures our retail presence on the City’s east side and complements our existing real estate portfolio in Windsor,” said Nelly Horovitz, Senior Property Manager, at Europro. “We are focused on bringing our unique management skills to this asset and will continue the repositioning of the Mall initiated by the previous owner.”

Europro also owns 6711 Tecumseh Road East and 6701 Tecumseh Road East near Tecumseh Mall.

“Recognizing that Windsor and Essex County is in a position of strong economic growth, with all sectors rebounding, we believe that investing in a unique mix of service, entertainment and retail will successfully position Tecumseh Mall as one of the market’s strongest retail leaders. We are committed to further investment in Tecumseh Mall and this community”, said Josef Jakubovic, President at Europro.

Europro plans a complete exterior retrofit to commence in 2019. Complimenting this redevelopment will be the addition of local and nationally branded tenants such as a new 40,000 square foot Marshalls/HomeSense, slated to open spring of 2019.

Other recent tenants include Giant Tiger, PetSmart and Sky Zone Trampoline Park.

In addition to the east end properties, they also own 1 Riverside Drive West, 300 Ouellette Avenue, 6711 Tecumseh Road East, 4520 North Service Road East, and 270 Erie Street East.
