The Windsor Optimist Youth Band celebrated their 50th anniversary with a free outdoor concert in Dieppe Gardens for the community. The concert featured alumni of the Youth Band as well as current members.
The free concert drew a crowd of people sitting in lawn chairs or in the grass to enjoy the classic and modern tunes that the band played, and also attracted many people who happened to be passing by with their tunes.
An Annual Pass the hat fundraiser was also done, where a hat is taken throughout the crowd to collect much appreciated donations.
