Today Advocis Windsor presented the 40th Annual Poor Boy Luncheon at The Caboto Club from 11 am – 2 pm.
The event costs $10 and includes lunch of a pulled pork sandwich and coleslaw, with various raffle prizes up for grabs as well. All proceeds from the event will go to Cystic Fibrosis Canada (CFC).
Anne-Marie Beausoleil is president of the Essex-Kent chapter of CFC, and has volunteered at the luncheon with her husband for the past six years. She loves to see the dedication of the people involved, and is appreciative of the support from the event organizers and attendees.
