Windsor Firefighters battled a fire in the 3500 block of Sandwich Monday afternoon.
The fire broke out around 2pm in a third floor apartment unit and spread to the attic.
One person was taken to hospital after assisting with building evacuation for minor smoke inhalation.
The cause is under investigation.
