St. Clair College Women’s Basketball End Season With Loss

The St. Clair College Women’s Basketball team ended their season in Scarborough Saturday afternoon with a 62-56 loss to St. Lawrence College.
St. Clair was effective early in the game but allowed St. Lawrence to come back for 13-12 1st quarter lead. The Saints moved ahead in the 2nd quarter before again relenting to the Vikings who managed to take a 28-22 lead into the halftime intermission. St. Lawrence was able to hold on down the stretch even though at times St. Clair was within striking distance. St. Clair did put up 25 points in the 4th quarter but could not close the gap.
The Saints finished the West Region schedule in 3rd Place with a 12-6 record and added a play-off record of 2-2. Combining their exhibition record of 5-5, St. Clair was an overall 19-13 on the year who will hit the recruiting trail in preparation for next season when they host the CCAA National Championships in March of 2016.
