Over the moth of December Windsor Regional Hospital embarked on a campaign called One CAN Make a Difference for the Downtown Mission.
Bins were set up at both the Met and Ouellette campuses as well as the Cancer Centre, while additional items were collected at staff holiday parties and a staff skating event at the WFCU Centre and inter-departmental challenges.
The grand total saw more than 3,500 food items collected.
“The collection was an enormous success and we are proud to have been able to partner with The Downtown Mission to help serve those in need,” said David Musyj, president and CEO of Windsor Regional Hospital.
