Local Windsor Essex Fundraisers Honoured On National Philanthropy Day

The Association of Fundraising Professionals – Canada South Chapter honoured a number of local philanthropists and organizations at its annual event for National Philanthropy Day, Tuesday morning.
The event took place at the Royal Canadian Legion on Howard Avenue and recognized outstanding philanthropic achievement by individuals, foundations, corporate philanthropists and fundraising volunteers.
Organizers say these individuals and organizations form a vital partnership with charities and the non-profit sector to ensure that the needs of all citizens in their community are met. The event also featured local Amazing Race Canada Champion Craig Ramsay.
