Daily access will return to Point Pelee National Park starting on Monday between the hours of 7am to sunset, seven days a week.

Visitors will have access to the main road, from the front gate to the visitor centre as well as day-use trails, including cycling access on designated trails and pathways and access to day-use areas, including green spaces, picnic areas, and beaches.

In addition, select public washrooms located throughout the park.

Construction on the main road does continue and visitors are advised to respect all on-site signage, reduce speed, and be prepared to experience intermittent minor delays or restrictions on the road in the park.

The park also announced the return of camping at the oTENTik village beginning July 15th. All reservations for dates up to and including July 14th will be automatically cancelled and refunded, and existing reservations from July 15th on will be honoured.

Parks Canada will begin to accept new online reservations for oTENTik camping at Point Pelee National Park on July 9th, beginning at 8am. Reservations can be made by calling 1-877-RESERVE (737-3783) or by visiting Parks Canada Campground Reservation Service. Visitors making reservations for oTENTik camping should be advised that from Friday to Sunday, there will be a minimum 2-night stay.
