The Community Gaming and Entertainment Group has decided to temporarily close all of their Windsor and Tecumseh locations as of Tuesday, March 17th until April 6th, 2020.
“While the overall public health risk remains low at this time, social concerns about COVID-19 have started to impact decisions regarding public spaces,” said Tony Rosa, President and CEO, in a statement to customers. “The health and safety of our customers, charities and staff is our priority.”
Locations affected include Breakaway Gaming Centre, Classic 4 Bingo, Paradise Gaming Centre, Power Play Gaming Centre (formerly Classic 3 Bingo) and The ZONE Bar and Grill.
“We will continue to closely monitor the situation and will reassess the safety of reopening in the coming weeks,” Rosa said. “This action is consistent with the recommendation of the province’s Chief Medical Officer of Health related to new precautionary measures for COVID-19.”
“We appreciate your patience as we work together to navigate through these challenging times,” he said.
